"March 2010 is my one year anniversary of leaving prison and my arrival at Depaul House. My association with Depaul House and specifically the staff has got me to a point in one year that I thought was impossible. ‘Above and beyond’ does not even come close to describing the dedication of the people who work here. Many days when I felt it was bleak, they kept it positive and helped me to keep trying to put my life back together.  Completing the program at Depaul has kept me grounded. In one year, I have accomplished so much. I am presently employed full-time and have a wonderful relationship with my teenage daughters. And, at the end of this year, I will be moving into my very own apartment."
